Every part of her was made by hand. Now there are two.

Wild and Free began with Portia. Two horses, each with a moonstone inspired finish and touches of gray for the beautiful gray mare behind this entire collection. Four natural stones rest beneath each horse, carrying the same intentions Portia brought into my life: clarity, courage, truth and love.

MADE TO MOVE

Each horse is intentionally designed for the ear where she will be worn, one right and one left, so they frame the face from opposite directions. Suspended from delicate ear wires, the horses and stones move freely with you.

These horses were never meant to stand still.

MADE WITH INTENTION, START TO FINISH

Original design. Created specifically for the Horses That Heal collection. This is not a stock horse added to an earring.

Crafted by a specialist. Each horse is individually cast in .925 sterling silver.

Poured by hand. An artisan hand pours the precious resin into each horse individually, creating the moonstone inspired finish and touches of gray that connect every piece back to Portia.

Natural stones, individually placed. Eight natural gemstones are placed by hand, four beneath each horse.

Every earring is individually made, polished and finished before the two are brought together as a pair. The resin and stones will naturally vary slightly from one to the next.

That’s not an imperfection. That’s what happens when something is actually made by hand.

Portia knew exactly who she was.

She didn’t need to prove her strength or ask permission to take up space. There was something about simply being near her that reminded me I didn’t need to either.

That is what Wild and Free carries forward.

CARE

Remove before showering, swimming or sleeping. Avoid direct contact with lotions, perfumes and other personal care products. Store in the velvet pouch when not being worn.
